Medical groups you may hear in Redondo Beach
A medical group or IPA lines up doctors. It is not the plan and not the hospital. These names have been seen around Redondo Beach. Open a name to read more, then ask the office whether your doctor uses that group this year. A name here is not a Medicare Advantage network.
- Torrance Memorial IPA. The IPA for doctors at Torrance Memorial. It does not include Providence Little Company of Mary.
- Centinela Valley IPA. An IPA in the South Bay and Inglewood. It is not Centinela Hospital. The hospital and the IPA are separate checks.
- Axminster Medical Group / Providence. An older name for a South Bay and Westside group tied to Providence. The office may now say Providence.
- Providence Medical Associates. Providence’s medical group for the South Bay and the Westside.
- UCLA Medical Group. The medical group for UCLA Health clinics on the Westside, in the South Bay, and in the San Fernando Valley.
Broader names also show up in Redondo Beach: Angeles-IPA, HealthCare Partners Medical Group (Optum), and Optum Care Network–Los Angeles. A countywide name is still not your doctor’s group until the office says so.
