California has 12 stand-alone Part D plans for 2026 and 10 for 2027. The plans are the same in every ZIP. A low premium is not the whole cost. Why the lowest number can mislead.
Covered Part D drugs have a $2,400 out-of-pocket threshold in 2027. Premiums do not count toward it. A higher-income Part D charge is separate from the premium. For a drug’s 30-day cost, use the drug cost check.
The full Extra Help premium is the amount on the plan list for someone who gets full Extra Help. Partial Extra Help can be different. This does not enroll you.
