Why there is no list on this page
A ZIP code does not have one SCAN doctor list. Each SCAN contract can use a different set of doctors, and a doctor can be in one plan and not another. Confirm the doctor on Medicare.gov, with the plan, and with the doctor’s office.
How to check one doctor
Write down the doctor’s name, the office address in or near 91006, and the medical group or IPA if you know it. The doctor check shows the doctor, the hospitals, and the medical groups. It does not show which plans the doctor takes. Confirm the doctor on Medicare.gov, with the plan, and with the doctor’s office.
Names people in 91006 often want checked
These are places Arcadia residents already use. Listing them is not a statement that any SCAN plan includes them. Ask about USC Arcadia Hospital, Huntington Health in Pasadena, and City of Hope in Duarte if that is where you get care. Medical-group names you may hear include Allied Pacific IPA and Huntington Health Physicians. The group is not the plan. The Arcadia Medicare page explains that local map.
“We take Medicare” is not a SCAN answer
An office that accepts Original Medicare has not said it takes SCAN. SCAN is a Medicare Advantage organization. Participation can also depend on the location, not only the doctor’s name.
