Original Medicare
Parts A and B generally do not cover routine dental. Limited exceptions can apply when dental work is an integral part of a covered medical procedure. Confirm on Medicare.gov. Do not assume a cleaning or a denture is covered.
Medicare Advantage extras
Some Medicare Advantage plans include a dental allowance or network. Limits, waiting periods, and which dentists participate vary. Read this year’s Evidence of Coverage. We do not name or rank those products here.
Medigap
Standardized Medigap letters generally help with Original Medicare cost-sharing. They generally do not add routine dental. Confirm the outline of coverage.
